Makes 🢒 Saab 🢒 2009 🢒 9-7x 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Exterior Trim 🢒 Rear Door Outside Handle and License Pocket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the license pocket lamps. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 721381 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the bellcrank rod from the outside door release handle.

    4. Object Number: 721390 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws that retain the license pocket to the liftgate.
  5. Remove the license pocket from the liftgate.
  6. Remove the liftgate handle from the license plate pocket. Refer to Liftgate Outside Handle Replacement.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the liftgate handle to the license plate pocket. Refer to Liftgate Outside Handle Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 721390 Size: SH
  2. Install the panel to the liftgate.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws that retain the panel to the liftgate, starting with the bottom center screw first and tighten to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 721381 Size: SH
  4. Install the bellcrank rod to the outside door release handle.
  5. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
  6. Install the license pocket lamps. Refer to Rear License Lamp Replacement.
