Rear Door Lock Replacement - Upper Coupe

1. Open the front and rear doors.
2. Remove the rear door upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Access Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the rear door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
4. Remove the rear door upper lock fasteners.



5. Remove the rear door upper lock with the cable attached.
6. Remove the rear door upper lock cable from the upper lock.

1. Install the rear door upper lock cable onto the upper lock.
2. Install the rear door upper lock and cable into the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the rear door upper lock fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).




4. Install the rear door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
5. Install the rear door upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Access Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
6. Close the rear and front doors.
