Rattle / Flutter Noise Heard at Highway Speeds Coming from the Front of the Vehicle - kw body front wheel liner fender MPH

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

Rattle/flutter noise heard at approximately 60 MPH and above coming from the front area of the vehicle.

Condition is caused by the plastic wheel well liners coming in contact with the body at the lower hinge pillar area. The liners may not be sufficiently retained, exhibiting enough movement that allows the liners to contact the body. Install self-adhesive backed foam to the backside of the liner to isolate the liner from the lower hinge pillar area of the body.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
