Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Verify the all doors and switches power door locks inoperative fault is present.

Do the power door locks operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring System

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, command the door lock relay ON.

Do the door lock actuators activate?

Go to Step 4

Is the RT I/P BATT fuse open?

Go to Step 12

Probe the supply side of the BODY fuse with a test lamp connected to a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 6

Is the BODY fuse open?

Go to Step 13

Test the right instrument panel (I/P) fuse block ground circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the battery positive voltage circuit from the RT I/P BATT fuse to the right I/P fuse block for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the battery positive voltage circuit from the BODY fuse to the door lock switches for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for poor connections at the right I/P fuse block harness connectors. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect for poor connections at the body control module (BCM). Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the short to ground in the battery positive voltage circuit from the RT I/P BATT fuse to the right I/P fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the short to ground in the battery positive voltage circuit from the BODY fuse to the door lock switches. Refer to Wiring Repairs and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
