Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 886321  Size: SH
  1. Use a wrench to loosen the antenna mast.
  2. Remove the antenna mast.
  3. Open the jack access panel, located on the left side of the rear compartment.
  4. Move the jack out of the way.
  5. Remove the fasteners from the antenna bracket assembly.
  6. From the inside rear compartment area, remove the antenna bracket assembly from the hole in the rear quarter panel.
  7. Disconnect the antenna lead from the antenna base mating socket.
  8. If necessary, remove the antenna bezel from the rear quarter panel opening.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 886321  Size: SH

    Important: Apply lubricant to the antenna mounting spacer, as required, to facilitate the installation of the antenna bezel.

  1. If necessary, insert the antenna bezel into the rear quarter panel opening.
  2. Connect the antenna lead to the antenna base mating socket.
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. From the inside rear compartment area, insert the antenna bracket assembly through the hole in the rear quarter panel and fully seat. Align the slot in the bracket to the weld studs on the inner and outer flanges of the wheelhouse.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 8 N·m (70 lb in).

  6. Position the jack to its original location.
  7. Close the jack access panel.
  8. Install and tighten the antenna mast to the antenna base.
  9. Tighten the antenna mast down with a wrench.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the mast to 8 N·m (70 lb in).
