Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Object Number: 897891 Size: SH
  2. Remove the right side heater duct retainer.
  3. Remove the right side heater duct.

    4. Object Number: 892662 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.

    5. Object Number: 892670 Size: SH
  5. Remove the mode actuator screws.
  6. Remove the mode actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 892670 Size: SH
  1. Install the mode actuator.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the mode actuator screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the mode actuator.

    4. Object Number: 897891 Size: SH
  4. Install the right side heater duct.
  5. Install the right side heater duct retainer.
  6. Install the storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
