Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1221111 Size: SH
  1. Depress the center pins inward to release the radio/HVAC controller cover push pin fasteners.

    2. Important: Do not push the center pins through the fasteners.

  2. Remove the fasteners and pull the radio/HVAC controller cover rearward.
  3. Disconnect the traction control/fog lamp/rear defog electrical connector, if equipped.

    4. Object Number: 903396 Size: SH
  4. Remove the radio screws.
  5. Push the spring clips in through D holes on both sides of the radio brace.
  6. Pull the radio out slightly to access the rear of the radio.

    7. Object Number: 903535 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector and antenna.
  8. Remove the radio.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 903535 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector and antenna to the back side of the radio.

    2. Object Number: 903396 Size: SH
  2. Install the radio.

    3. Important: Make sure the spring clips are seated in D holes on both sides.

  3. Install and tighten the screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in) .

  4. Connect the traction control/fog lamp/rear defog electrical connector, if equipped.
  5. Install the radio/HVAC control cover. Push in at clip locations.
  6. Install the push pins and lock.
