Purpose
A change has been made during 1999 model year production to the automatic transaxle oil filter assembly to improve sealing effectiveness. This change involves a new torque specification for the oil filter.
The new transaxle oil filter assembly (P/N 21003361) is red in color with white lettering. The installation instruction instructions on side of filter should be read prior to installing filter.
The torque specification has been revised to the following:
Torque Gasket contact plus an additional 1 10 1 1/2 turns
