The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
The description and operation of the sunroof switch in Service Information is inaccurate.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The sunroof switch has different operating characteristics for 2005. To put the sunroof in the vent position, pull down on the front of the switch and push up on the front of the switch to close. Correct information can be found in the owner's manual. The description of operation in SI is for 2002-04 models only.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
