Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you
are removing or installing.
- Raise the window far enough in order to gain access through the inner door panel to the window guide retainer
clips.
- Push inward on the window guide retainer clip locks, lift upward on the window until released from the retaining clip.
- Raise the window to the full up position and tape in place.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window motor.
- Loosen the bolt to the window regulator motor (2, 3, 4).
- Lift the motor free of the retaining slot.
- Remove the window regulator and motor from the door.
- Remove the power window motor from the window regulator. Refer to

Installation Procedure
- Install the power window motor to the window regulator. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement
.
- Install the bolts (2, 3, 4) to the window regulator and motor.
- Position the window regulator and motor into the locating slots of the inner door panel.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the window regulator and motor bolts to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector to the power window motor.
- Remove the masking tape.
- Lower the window far enough in order to gain access through the inner door panel to the window guide retainer
clips.
- Inspect the window for proper operation.
- Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to

.
- Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
