Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2006 🢒 Allure 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.6L 🢒 Oil Filter Adapter Installation

    Object Number: 1412143 Size: SH
  1. Position the left knock sensor to the cylinder block as shown.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the knock sensor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the knock sensor bolt to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  3. Ensure proper knock sensor orientation.

    4. Object Number: 1412142 Size: SH
  4. Position a NEW oil filter adapter gasket onto the oil filter adapter.

    5. Object Number: 1395944 Size: SH
  5. Install the oil filter adapter bolts into the oil filter adapter.
  6. Install the oil filter adapter.
  7. Tighten the oil filter adapter bolts into the engine block.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter adapter bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  8. Install a NEW oil filter.
