Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 797970 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.

    3. Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

  3. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement.
  4. Remove the window regulator and motor through the access opening in the door panel.
  5. Remove the window regulator motor bolts from the window regulator.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 797970 Size: SH
  1. Install the window regulator motor bolts to the window regulator.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  2. Install the window regulator and motor through the access opening.
  3. Install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement.
  4. Remove the masking tape.
  5. Inspect the window for proper operation and programming. Refer to Control Module References.
  6. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  7. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
