Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2009 🢒 Allure 🢒 Diagnostic Navigation 🢒 Programming and Setup 🢒 Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) lower trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1397121 Size: SH
  2. Remove the HVAC control assembly mounting screws.

    3. Object Number: 1397027 Size: SH

    Note: Retaining clips hold the HVAC control assembly in place.

  3. Pull the HVAC control assembly rearward from the I/P.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors form the HVAC control assembly.
  5. Remove the HVAC control assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 410369 Size: SH

    Note: The key should be in the off position when connecting the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration.

  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly.

    2. Object Number: 1397027 Size: SH
  2. Install the HVAC control assembly.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the HVAC control assembly mounting screws and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
  4. Install the I/P lower trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Replacement.

    5. Note: Do not adjust any controls on the HVAC control assembly while the HVAC control assembly is calibrating. If interrupted improper HVAC performance will result.

  5. Start the engine and run for 1 minute.
