Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the supplementary inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
3. Remove the center pillars upper trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Remove the upper rear trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
5. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
6. Remove the headliner assembly. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

10 N·m (89 lb in)
