Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the supplementary inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the garnish molding windshield. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
3. Remove the upper center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
4. Remove the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
5. Remove the rear quarter window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
6. Remove the headliner assembly. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
