Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement.
2. Remove the instrument panel lower trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Replacement.
3. Set the parking brake, then shift the transmission into drive and push the shift indicator down until it locks, to allow clearance to remove the console.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tighten
10 N·m (88 lb in)
