HARD START/POOR PERFORMANCE INTERMITTENT ELEC. FUEL PUMP

Intermittent operation of an electric fuel pump may be due to an improperly crimped wire terminal connection at the fuel pump. An improper crimp at the terminal may have damaged the wire, causing an intermittent connection.
