LIGHTED VANITY MIRROR WIRE PINCHED BETWEEN INNER AND OUTER ROOF PANELS
Condition: The wire to the lighted visor vanity mirror may have excess length, which may be trapped between the inner and outer roof panels (see Illustration). The trapped wire may then be pinched or cut by the visor mounting screws. This then blow the 20 amp courtesy fuse.
----------- 1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove visor.
3. Remove garnish moulding, and any other trim necessary, then pull down inner roof panel to gain access to wiring.
4. Repair wiring as necessary, Tape wire out of the way of the visor mounting holes.
5. Reinstall inner roof panel, and mouldings previously removed.
6. Reinstall visor.
7. Reconnect negative battery cable.
