This bulletin is designed to proved technicians specific guidelines to follow utilizing comprehensive diagnostic procedures. The procedures clarify the current diagnostic steps to effectively repair the stalling conditions. Each Dealer will receive the following items under separate cover for use by their driveability technicians.
o Two copies of the Stall Diagnostic Bulletin
o One pad of Service Advisor Questionnaires
o Section 6E Diagnostic Information
The Stall Diagnostic Bulletin outlines specific inspections and tests that are to be performed. It also contains a questionnaire for use by the Service Advisor as well as Section 6E Diagnostic Information. The questionnaire is to be used to obtain all background information prior to performing any repairs and is to be attached to the technician's copy of the repair order.
Repairs performed beyond the emission warranty are to be reviewed by Business Development Centre Personnel.

This time includes performing the basic diagnosis and repair procedures, and replacement of specified parts if needed (PROM, MAF, Crank Sensor and one wiring repair).
If additional parts and/or repairs are required, use applicable "J" labour operation numbers.
