TAILGATE POWER LOCK

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-88 'A' AND 'J', CAR WAGONS ------------------

Some 1985-88 'A' and 'J' car wagons may experience a condition where the tailgate will not fully unlock from the remote release.

To repair this condition a new latch assembly incorporating a heavier, stronger spring has been released. Part number 16604546 is available through the Parts Department. Vehicles built after January 1988 will incorporate the new latch assembly.
