Throttle Body Heater Inlet Hose Replacement Throttle Body Inlet Hose

Removal Procedure

    NOTICE: When adding coolant, it is important that you use GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL® or HAVOLINE® DEX-COOL® coolant. If Coolant other than DEX-COOL® or HAVOLINE® DEX-COOL® is added to the system the engine coolant will require change sooner; at 50 000 km (30,000 mi) or 24 months.

  1. Remove the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Air Filter Element and Air Cleaner Assembly in Engine Controls.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Disconnect the throttle body inlet hose clamp and the hose.
  4. Remove the throttle body inlet hose.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the throttle body inlet hose with the clamps
  2. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Install the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Air Filter Element and Air Cleaner Assembly in Engine Controls.
