Throttle Body Heater Pipe Replacement Throttle Body Heater Pipe

Removal Procedure

    NOTICE: When adding coolant, it is important that you use GM Goodwrench DEX-COOL® or HAVOLINE® DEX-COOL® coolant. If Coolant other than DEX-COOL® or HAVOLINE® DEX-COOL® is added to the system the engine coolant will require change sooner; at 50 000 km (30,000 mi) or 24 months.

  1. Remove the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Engine Controls Table of Contents.
  2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Remove the throttle body and the adapter tube. Refer toThrottle Body Assembly Replacement (Adapter Tube) in Engine Controls.

  5. Remove the throttle body coolant pipe.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 12746  Size: SH
  1. Install the throttle body coolant pipe.
  2. Install the throttle body and the adapter tube. Refer toThrottle Body Assembly Replacement (Adapter Tube) in Engine Controls.
  3. Refill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  4. Remove the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Engine Controls Table of Contents.
