Generator Brace Replacement - Auxiliary Front Brace 3100 Engine L82

1. Remove the generator front brace nut from the intake manifold.



2. Remove the generator mounting bracket upper bolt from the generator.
3. Remove the generator front brace from the engine.

1. Install the generator front brace to the engine.
2. Install the generator mounting bracket upper bolt to the generator.




Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace bolts to 50  N·m (37   lb   ft).

3. Install the generator front brace nut to the intake manifold.

Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace bolts to 25  N·m (18   lb   ft).

Generator Brace Replacement - Auxiliary Front Brace L36/L67 Engines

1. Remove the generator front brace nuts.



2. Remove the generator front brace from the engine.

1. Install the generator front brace to the engine.



2. Install the generator front brace nuts.




Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace bolts to 30  N·m (22   lb   ft).
