Was the Instrument Cluster System Check performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console

1. Install a scan tool.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. WOW the instrument cluster on.

Does the battery charge indicator come on when commanded?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Using the scan tool.
2. WOW the instrument cluster off.

Does the battery charge indicator turn off when commanded?

--

Go to Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls - 3.1L or Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Engine Controls - 3.8L

Go to Step 4

1. Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
2. Inspect the system.

Is the repair complete?
