Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia from the front bumper fascia lower support. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Support Replacement .
  3. Remove the front bumper energy absorber retainers. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .

  4. Remove the wiring harness from the rear of the front bumper impact bar.
  5. Remove the fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  6. Remove the horns. Refer to Horn Replacement in Horns.

    7. Object Number: 325302 Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolts from the front bumper impact bar at the frame rails.
  8. Remove the front bumper impact bar from the frame rails.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 325302 Size: SH
  1. Install the front bumper impact bar to the frame rails.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolts to the front bumper impact bar at the frame rails.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the wiring harness to the rear of the front bumper impact bar.
  4. Install the horns. Refer to Horn Replacement in Horns.
  5. Install the front bumper energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .
  6. Install the front bumper fascia to the front bumper fascia lower support. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Support Replacement .
  7. Install the fog lamps. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  8. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
