Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 699549 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe at the fuel filter area. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Disconnect the EVAP hose (7) from the canister (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

    4. Object Number: 699561 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe (8) from the EVAP canister (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Remove the EVAP purge pipe (8).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 699561 Size: SH
  1. Connect the EVAP purge pipe (8) to the EVAP canister (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  2. Connect the EVAP canister hose (7) to the canister (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Connect the EVAP purge pipe to the fuel filter area. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
