Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 166672  Size: SH
  1. Remove the parking brake pedal assembly, if replacing the left front sunroof drain hose. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
  2. Remove the front carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Pull the front carpet back to gain access to the hole in the front door hinge pillar.
  4. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Important: Note the routing of the sunroof drain hose before removing.

  6. Disconnect the front drain hose from the sunroof module spigot.
  7. Tie a string to the module end of the sunroof drain hose to aid in the installation process.
  8. Remove the front sunroof drain hose grommet from the hole in the front door hinge pillar.
  9. Remove the front sunroof drain hose from the front door hinge pillar. Pull the sunroof drain hose from the front door hinge pillar, allowing the string to remain in the pillar.
  10. Remove the string from the drain hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 166672  Size: SH
  1. Tie the string to the new sunroof drain hose at the sunroof module.
  2. Install the front sunroof drain hose, by pulling the string from the front door hinge pillar access hole and routing it through the front door hinge pillar.
  3. Remove the string from the front sunroof drain hose.
  4. Install the end of the front sunroof drain hose to the grommet in the front door hinge pillar.
  5. Connect the front sunroof drain hose to the spigot on the sunroof module.
  6. Inspect the front sunroof drain hose for proper routing.
  7. Push the front carpet back to its original position.
  8. Install the front carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the parking brake pedal assembly, if removed. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal Assembly Replacement in Park Brake.
