Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Verify that the power windows inoperative lockout function fault is present.

Does the power window lockout function operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the master driver window switch.
  2. Test the power window master switch lockout signal circuit for an open, short to voltage and short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 6

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the master driver window switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the master driver window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .
