The TIM Scan Tool Data Definitions contain a brief description
of all the TIM scan tool parameters. This list is in alphanumeric order.
Auto Learn Mode Active: The scan tool displays Yes or No - The scan tool displays if TIM
is currently in learn mode. The EBCM will be in learn mode after replacement
or after the reset switch is activated.
LF Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 255 km/h or 0 158 mph
- The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left front wheel.
Low Tire Pressure: The scan tool displays Yes or No - The scan tool displays whether
or not the tires should be checked for proper air pressure.
LR Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 255 km/h or 0 158 mph
- The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left rear wheel.
Monitor Mode 1: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive - TIM autolearn is partially
complete and reduced tire pressure monitoring capability is available. Only
a large pressure loss within a tire will set the TIM light during this
mode.
Monitor Mode 2: The scan tool displays Active or Inactive - TIM autolearn is complete
and full tire pressure monitoring capability is available during this mode.
RF Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 255 km/h or 0 158 mph
- The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right front wheel.
RR Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 0 255 km/h or 0 158 mph
- The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right rear wheel.
TIM Equipped: The scan tool displays Yes or No - The scan tool displays if vehicle
is equipped with TIM or not.
TIM Failed: The scan tool displays Yes or No - The scan tool displays if ABS
is disabled due to a malfunction.
TIM Reset Switch: The scan tool displays Pressed or Released - The scan tool displays
if the tire inflation monitor reset switch is currently being depressed by
the driver.
Vehicle Speed: The scan tool displays 0 255 km/h or 0 158 mph
- The scan tool displays the vehicle speed.
