Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the center belt nuts.

  3. Object Number: 157288  Size: SH
  4. Remove the center belts from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Important: Position the rear seat belt anchors in their proper orientation.

    Verify that the rear seat belt anchors are installed in their proper orientation.

  1. Install the center belts in the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the center belt nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat center belt nuts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

    Important: Be sure to route the buckle correctly through the seat cushion.

  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
