Cigar Lighter Lamp Bulb Replacement Rear Door

1. Open the ashtray door.
2. Lift to remove the ashtray from the ashtray housing.
3. Using the ashtray opening, reach under the forward edge of the rear door ashtray housing and lift to release the forward retainer.
4. Release the rear retaining tab and lift the ashtray housing fully out of the opening in the door trim panel.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door cigar lighter.
6. Using a small flat-bladed screwdriver, carefully release the cover of the cigar lighter lamp housing.

Important: Use care to not bend the lamp contact strips when opening the lamp housing cover.

7. Hold the base of the lamp housing slightly away from the cigar lighter housing, while slowly opening the lamp housing cover to expose the bulb.
8. Remove the bulb from the socket.

1. Install the bulb to the socket.

2. Hold the base of the lamp housing slightly away from the cigar lighter housing, while slowly closing the lamp housing cover.
3. Carefully press the cover of the cigar lighter lamp housing to secure.
4. Check to ensure that the lamp contact strips are making proper contact.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the rear door cigar lighter.
6. Insert the rear retaining tab of the ashtray housing into the opening in the door trim panel.
7. Align the ashtray housing to the door trim panel, then press to secure the forward retainer.
8. Install the ashtray to the ashtray housing.
9. Close the ashtray door.
