The hood hinges are bolted to the fender and the hood. Fore-aft adjustment can be made by elongating the hood-side hinge holes. Vertical adjustment at the front may be made by adjusting the hood bumpers up or down. Gap tolerances are 2-6 mm (0.10-0.22 in ) and flush tolerances are -2 to +2 mm (-0.06 to +0.06 in).

1. Open the hood.
2. Loosen the hinge to the hood bolts. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
3. Adjust the hood to the fender position.
4. Close the hood.



5. Inspect the alignment.
6. Open the hood.



7. Adjust the hood bumpers, as required.
8. Inspect the alignment.
9. Open the hood.
10. Adjust the hood bumpers, as required.
11. Tighten the hinge to the hood bolts. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
12. Close the hood.
