Is the left outside rearview mirror inoperative?

  1. Disconnect the left outside rearview mirror wiring harness connector.
  2. Using a test light, backprobe between B+ and the left outside rearview mirror harness connector (male side) terminal A.
  3. Set the outside mirror select switch to the left mirror.
  4. Press and hold the outside remote control rearview mirror switch LEFT button.

Does the test light illuminate?

Replace the outside remote control rearview mirror switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect the right outside rearview mirror wiring harness connector.
  2. Using a test light, frontprobe between B+ and the right outside rearview mirror harness connector (male side) terminal A .
  3. Set the outside mirror select switch to the right mirror.
  4. Press and hold the outside remote control rearview mirror switch to RIGHT.

Does the test light illuminate?
