Removal Procedure

  1. Tilt the seat back to a horizontal position.
  2. Remove the ashtray. Refer to Front Seat Ashtray and Housing Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 305135  Size: SH
  4. Remove the armrest shoulder bolt covers on both sides of the armrest bracket.
  5. Remove the armrest shoulder bolts.
  6. Remove the armrest from the armrest support bracket.
  7. Remove the push-in retainers from the support bracket plastic cover.
  8. Slide up the armrest support bracket plastic cover to access four armrest to support bracket bolts.
  9. Remove the armrest support bracket bolts.
  10. Remove the armrest support bracket from the cushion frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 305135  Size: SH
  1. Position the armrest support bracket to the seat cushion frame.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the armrest support bracket bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the armrest support bracket bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Slide down the armrest support bracket plastic cover over the four armrest to the seat cushion frame bolts.
  6. Install the push-in retainers on the support bracket plastic cover.
  7. Install the armrest to the armrest support bracket.
  8. Install the armrest shoulder bolts.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the armrest shoulder bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  10. Install the armrest shoulder bolt covers.
  11. Install the ashtray. Refer to Front Seat Ashtray and Housing Replacement .
  12. Return the seat to its origional position.
