J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. From inside the rear compartment, remove the bulb from the high mount stop lamp.



2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
4. Remove the rear carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
5. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Remove the push-in retainers from the panel front using J 38778 .
7. Lift the panel and remove the seat belts through the slots in the trim panel.
8. Slide the panel forward to disengage the integral hook from the retaining hole.
9. Disconnect the electrical cable connector for the high mounted stop lamp, located on the passenger end of panel.
10. Remove the rear shelf.

1. Connect the electrical cable connector for the high mounted stop lamp.
2. Slide the panel rearward to engage the integral hook in the retaining hole.
3. Lift the panel and route the seat belts through the slots in the trim panel.
4. Install the push-in retainers in the panel front.
5. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
6. Install the rear carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.



9. Install the bulb for the high mount stop lamp.
