Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Suitably support the exhaust system.
  3. Remove the exhaust resonator pipe. Refer to Resonator Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 289490 Size: SH
  4. Remove the exhaust resonator pipe heat shield pop rivets.
  5. Remove the exhaust resonator pipe heat shield.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 289491 Size: SH
  1. Install the exhaust resonator pipe heat shield.
  2. Install the exhaust resonator pipe heat shield pop rivets.
  3. Install the exhaust resonator pipe. Refer to Resonator Replacement .
  4. Remove the support from the exhaust system.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Inspect the exhaust system for leaks and underbody contact.
