Tools Required

1. Remove the engine coolant recovery resevoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Accessory Wiring Junction Block Replacement in Body Front End.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical-3.0L.
4. Remove the power steering pump pulley using the J 25034-C with the J 37609 or the J 37609-A .

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Important: 

•	The face of the pulley hub must be flush with the end of the pump driveshaft.

•	Do not use the arbor press to install the pulley.

1. Install the power steering pump pulley using the J 25033-C or the J 36015 .



2. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical-3.0L.
3. Install the accessory wiring junction block. Refer to Accessory Wiring Junction Block Replacement in Body Front End.
4. Install the engine coolant recovery resevoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement in Engine Cooling.
