Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 1999 🢒 Century (China) (CNG) 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console 🢒 Coolant Level Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Partially drain the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.

    3. Object Number: 368748 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the low coolant module.

    4. Object Number: 163296 Size: SH

    Important: To unlock the low coolant module, lift one leg of the snap clip from its locked position and pull outward with a slight twisting motion

  4. Remove the low coolant module.
  5. Discard the O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure

    Important: Install the new O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring seal with coolant.

  1. Place the snap clip leg in place.

    2. Object Number: 163296 Size: SH
  2. Install the low coolant module.

    3. Object Number: 368748 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the low coolant module.
  4. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.

    5. Important: To properly fill the cooling system requires the use of the air bleed vents.

  5. Fill the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Inspect for leaks.
