Radiator Grille Emblem/Nameplate Replacement GLX

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement in Bumpers.

  3. Object Number: 514727  Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts from the emblem.
  5. Remove the front emblem from the grille.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front emblem to the grille.

  2. Object Number: 514727  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts to the emblem.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement in Bumpers.
  6. Close the hood.

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the grille. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement in Bumpers.

  3. Object Number: 514811  Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts from the emblem.
  5. Remove the front emblem from the grille.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front emblem to the grille.

  2. Object Number: 514811  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.
