Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the sideview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 468274  Size: SH
  3. Remove the mirror face from the mirror housing. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement .
  4. Remove the three motor retaining screws.
  5. Remove the three screws from the lower housing.
  6. Remove the electric cable from the housing.
  7. Remove the electric mirror motor.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 468274  Size: SH
  1. Install the electric cable through the mirror housing.
  2. Install the three screws in the mirror housing.
  3. Install the electric mirror motor.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the electric mirror motor screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the outside mirror motor screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the outside mirror housing screws.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the outside mirror housing screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the glass in the mirror housing. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement .
  10. Install the sideview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
