Tool Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish clip Remover.

1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
2. Remove the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .
3. Remove the sunshade bezel. Refer to Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement .
4. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
5. Remove the assist straps. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
6. Remove the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
7. Remove the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
8. Remove the upper quarter garnish molding. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
9. Remove the center pillar upper trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
10. Rotate the right font seatback to a horizontal position.
11. Using J 38778 remove the two rear headliner retainers.
12. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the right front door.

1. Move the headliner into the vehicle through the right front door.

Important: Do not bend the headlining too much when loading it.

2. Position the headliner by aligning the sunshade holes in headlining with the respective hole in the body structure.
3. Install the sunshade bezel. Refer to Sunshade Retainer Bezel Replacement .
4. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
5. Install the sunshade retainers. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .
6. Install the two rear retainers.
7. Rotate the right front seatback to its upright position.
8. Install the center pillar upper trim panels. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
9. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
10. Install the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
11. Install the assist straps. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement .
12. Install the coat hook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
13. Install the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
