Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the two recliner to the seat cushion frame roll pins. Discard the roll pins.

  3. Object Number: 305144  Size: SH
  4. Remove the recliner to the seat back frame pivot bolts.
  5. Remove the recliner from the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 305144  Size: SH
  1. Position the recliner to the seat cushion frame.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install but do no tighten the recliner to the seat back frame pivot bolts.
  4. Install the two recliner to the seat cushion frame roll pins. Use new roll pins.
  5. Tighten the pivot bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the seat back frame pivot bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
