Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 305141 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat back pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the roll pins from the recliner to the seat back. Discard the roll pins.
  3. Remove the recliner to the seat back frame pivot bolts.
  4. Separate the front seat back frame from the seat back pad.

Installation Procedure

  1. install the front seat back frame to the seat back pad.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the recliner to the seat back frame pivot bolts. Do not tighten.

    3. Install the roll pins to recliner seat back. Use new roll pins.

    Tighten
    Tighten the seat back frame pivot bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the front seat back pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement .
