SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE SEC. 3A6 (REVISED WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPEC)

SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 3A-6 WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS (CAMBER SPECS CHANGED)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991-92 ROADMASTERS

SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 3A-6

Change in camber specification from 0.8 +/-0.8 degrees to 0.0 +/-0.8 degrees and correction for individual toe setting from 0.8 +/-0.1 degrees to 0.08 +/0.1 degrees. VEHICLES are not to be realigned because of this change only. If an alignment is required due to a customer comment, then use the following specifications:

NOTE: Alignment settings on new vehicles may change during the first 500 miles of use due to suspension "settling." Alignment adjustments should be made only after this break-in period.

Wheel Alignment Specifications

Operation Specification in Degrees --------- ------------------------ Front Caster 3.5 +/1.0 Cross Caster 1.0 Max

Camber 0.0 +/-0.8 Cross Camber 1.0 Max

Individual Toe-In 0.08 +/-0.1 Total Toe-In 0.16 +/-0.2

Steering Wheel Angle Level +/-2.5

Rear Thrust Angle 0.0 +/-0.15
