THM 2004R SERVO COVER REMOVAL UPDATED ESSENTIAL TOOL

STARTING MAY 11, 1981, DEALERS WERE SHIPPED A SERVO COVER DEPRESSOR TOOL J-29714. A CHANGE WAS MADE IN PRODUCTION WHERE A DOUBLE SPRING, INSTEAD OF A SINGLE SPRING, IS USED BEHIND THE SERVO COVER. THIS NEW SPRING MAKES THE COVER DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS WHEN REMOVING THE RETAINER RING. THIS TOOL CAN BE USED WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN OR OUT OF THE CAR.
