Labor operation D3000 "A/C System - Leak Test and Partial Charge" should be used to partially charge a completely discharged system to locate a leak due to a component failure. It is not necessary to fully charge the system to perform successful leak testing.

Effective immediately:

This labor operation to be used to partially charge (1 lb . max. ) the A/C system to locate a leak. "Other Labor Hours" not allowed with this labor operation; necessary repairs or component replacement must be claimed with appropriate labor operation.
