SUN VISOR LOOSE AND WILL NOT HOLD POSITION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1986-1988 'B' SERIES ------------------

Owner comments on B-car sun visors that are loose and will not hold position can be addressed by replacing the sleeve, P/N 8740843 with a new thicker sleeve, P/N 17927383.

1. Loosen tensioning screw and remove sunshade from support.

2. Extract clear plastic sleeve from sunshade using needle nose pliers and replace with new sleeve (black plastic), P/N 17927383.

3. Check rod on support assembly to be sure it does not turn within the support. If rod turns replace support assembly.

4. Reinstall sunshade and check for proper operation.

Use the most applicable labour operation from the Canadian Labour Time Guide and claim 0.3 hours.
