ECC POWER MODULE INOPERATIVE - 1981 C-CAR WITH V-6 THE ECC POWER MODULE MAY BECOME INOPERATIVE IF THE A/C COMPRESSOR DIODE LEADS ARE SHORTED TO EACH OTHER. IF THE BLUE WIRE TO THE COMPRESSOR FROM THE ELECTRONIC CLIMATE CONTROL (ECC) POWER MODULE IS MISROUTED, IT CAN PULL THE TWO CONNECTING DIODE WIRES TOGETHER, SHORTING OUT THE DIODE. INSULATE AND REROUTE WIRES AS NECESSARY.
