CARB GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSY CORRECTS VACUUM LEAKS

A NEW CARBURETOR GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSEMBLY FOR THE 4.1L ENGINE HAS BEEN RELEASED. THE NEW GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSEMBLY HAS A BETTER GASKET ADHESION TO THE INSULATOR ASSEMBLY, WHICH WILL ALLEVIATE VACUUM LEAKS BETWEEN THE CARBURETOR AND INTAKE MANIFOLD. ALL OLD GM PARTS DEPARTMENT 4.1L CARBURETOR GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSEMBLIES HAVE BEEN SCRAPPED AND REPLACED WITH THE NEW ASSEMBLIES UNDER THE NEW PART NUMBER 25516626. THE NEW CARBURETOR GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSEMBLY HAS A 'RAISED BAR' ADDED TO THE INSULATOR TO IDENTIFY THE REVISED PART. SEE ILLUSTRATION.
