ENGINE OIL PAN GASKETS STEEL CORE WITH BONDED CORK

MODELS AFFECTED: 1983 5.0 V-8 (VIN CODE Y) GAS, 4.3L V-6 AND 5.7L V-8 DIESEL ENGINES

The oil pan gasket on the engines listed above contain a sramped steel core with cork bonded to each side. If the cork comes off, the sharp steel edge will be exposed.
